Our Commitment to Safeguarding

The Open Eyes Foundation is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children and young people involved in our activities. To strengthen this commitment, Board Member Esther Davidson has been appointed as our Safeguarding Focal Point.

In this role, Esther oversees the implementation of our safeguarding procedures, advises on safe recruitment and onboarding, and provides guidance on how we ensure the wellbeing, dignity, and protection of youth in every project we engage in. She also serves as the confidential point of contact for concerns related to safety or wellbeing.

We believe that safeguarding is essential to empowering young people and ensuring that their voices can be heard without fear of discrimination, exclusion, or harm.
