what we do

The Open Eyes Foundation

provides information materials to schools and (local) governments. Furthermore, the Foundation organises or contributes to exhibitions.

The chairperson of the foundation is regulary asked to do presentations at schools and teacher colleges. Topics range from how it is to live with albinism or having a handicap to how teachers can better engage with children with disabilities in the classroom to ensure they are better understood and not left out.

The aim is always to ensure children and teachers do not discriminate against children who are different and how to become more inclusive.

In 2023, an exhibition will be organised on discrimination of people with albinism.
