On 13 June 2023, we celebrated International Albinism Awareness Day in Geneva, in partnership with Muluka-Anne Miti-Drummond, the UN Independent Expert on Albinism, and Antoine Gliksohn, Director of the Global Albinism Alliance.
This years’s theme was “Inclusion is Strength” to emphasize the importance of including persons with albinism in education, work, sports etc. across the world.
The event was hosted by UNESCO-IBE and moderated by the expert Amy Paunila.
